ISTABA Peace Academy is a private Islamic early childhood center nestled within the serene campus of the Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area, located in Tampa, Florida. Catering to children aged 12 months to 5 years, we offer a nurturing and stimulating environment where young minds can flourish.
Our center provides a safe, welcoming, and loving space for children to explore and learn about the world around them. We understand the importance of early childhood education in shaping a child’s future, and thus, we prioritize creating an environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and growth.
At ISTABA Peace Academy, we are committed to making quality education accessible to all families. We accept the School Readiness voucher and offer free Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) programs. Parents interested in these services can apply through the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County at www.elchc.org.
Our curriculum is carefully designed to meet the developmental needs of children at different stages of early childhood. In our toddler classrooms (ages 12 months to 35 months), we focus on teaching self-help skills, problem-solving techniques, and language development while instilling a love for Islam.
For preschool-aged children (ages 3 to 5 years), our program emphasizes early reading, math, and writing skills integrated with Islamic Studies, Quran, and Arabic. Through a combination of hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and play-based learning, we strive to prepare children for academic success while nurturing their spiritual and moral development.

Curriculum
Ages 1 – 2
The toddler curriculum at ISTABA Peace Academy, tailored for children aged 12 months to 35 months, is carefully crafted to support their developmental milestones while instilling a love for learning and Islam. Our program focuses on fostering essential skills such as self-help, problem-solving, and language development through age-appropriate activities and hands-on experiences. Toddlers engage in sensory exploration, imaginative play, and social interactions to cultivate their cognitive, motor, and social-emotional abilities. With a nurturing and supportive environment, we guide toddlers in their early stages of growth, laying a strong foundation for their future academic and personal success, all within the framework of Islamic teachings and values.
Ages 3 – 5
The preschool curriculum at ISTABA Peace Academy is meticulously designed to provide children aged 3 to 5 years with a holistic educational experience that integrates academic rigor with Islamic values. Through a dynamic and engaging learning environment, children explore early literacy and language development, mathematical concepts, and writing skills. Integral to our curriculum is the teaching of Islamic studies, Quranic recitation, and Arabic language, fostering a love for Islam and cultural understanding. Moreover, we prioritize social and emotional development through cooperative play and discussions on kindness and empathy. By balancing structured lessons with hands-on experiences and play-based learning, our curriculum aims to nurture confident, compassionate, and academically prepared young learners, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to thrive in both academic and social settings.
